CCC 1324: “The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life.Β The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it.Β For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch.”
Receiving “First Communion” is a landmark for a child’s faith journey. Children who have begun Grade Two are invited to prepare for First Communion. Β In St. Patrick Parish, children prepare for First Communion as a regular part of their faith formation in Grade Two in our local Catholic Schools: St. Patrick Elementary and Ascension Elementary School.Β If your child is not enrolled in a Catholic School, please contact the parish office.Β Please watch the video for additional information.
